Shaped Oddity Rectangle
Designed by Bill Parry. The Shaped Oddity Rectangle Chair does not ask to be noticed. It simply is.
A study in geometric restraint, it draws from the visual language of West African throne seating, Japanese Mingei craft philosophy, and the clean architectural tension of mid-century European design — filtered through Bill Parry's singular eye. The rectangular backrest is not a backrest. It is a frame. A deliberate void held in place by hands that have spent years learning how rattan wants to move.
Natural honey-toned wicker. Powder-coated iron. Two materials that have nothing in common except the discipline required to work with them. This is not accent furniture. It is collected furniture.
