The Step draws from Peter Blake’s iconic 1987 woven cube shade — reinterpreted in fine bamboo strip construction by Bill Parry. The geometric base and handwoven cube shade create extraordinary depth and shadow play. A lamp with genuine cultural reference and a presence to match.

The Making

Made in the Philippines. Each Step lamp handcrafted by skilled artisans who weave fine bamboo strips individually to build the cube shade from the base upward. The process is slow and deliberate — the result carries the full weight of that attention. Each piece ships with a handwritten Certificate of Making.
