Yes — all Rattanology wall sconces can be hardwired. They use a standard backplate with a live/neutral/earth connection. We recommend a qualified electrician for installation.
Are Rattanology wall sconces compatible with US electrical boxes?
Yes. Our sconces use a universal backplate that fits standard US single-gang electrical boxes. US plug options are also available at checkout if you prefer a plug-in installation.
What bulb fitting do Rattanology wall sconces use?
All wall sconces use an E27 (UK/EU) or E26 (US) fitting. We recommend an E27/E26 LED bulb, 2700K warm white, maximum 40W.
Can I use Rattanology wall sconces in a bathroom?
Our wall sconces are rated for dry and damp locations only — not suitable for direct water exposure. For bathroom use, install away from the shower zone (Zone 2 minimum).
