There is a moment, just after dusk, when a room needs only one thing. The Thalia knows what it is.

Drawing from the language of flowers, Thalia rises from a single woven base — two stems arching toward their own light, each shaped by hand from natural rattan, dried slowly, finished without hurry. The result is a lamp that does not stand in a room so much as grow in it.

The Making

Thalia is handcrafted in the Philippines by master craftspeople working with natural rattan harvested from managed plantations. Each stem is shaped by hand — twisted, dried, and finished individually. No two lamps are identical.

Rattanology is a UK design studio based in Oxford, partnering with master craftspeople around the world to create premium rattan lighting and furniture with intention and integrity.
